David Cassetti Jr David Cassetti Jr 5'10" | ATH Ansonia | 2023 State New E is 5’10” 205lbs; athlete who was positioned at LB for his team this season. He has a 3.7 GPA and a member of the National Honor Society. During this weekend championship action, he ran for 171 yards on 34 carries.  He also threw a touchdown pass and ran for the go-ahead two-point conversion. He was a solid performer the entire year. He totalled 102 carries for 944 yards and 13 td’s on offense during the season. On defense, he had 45 tackles 3 sacks and 1 interception. His play this season earned him All-State honors along with 2022 Max Preps Connecticut player of the year honors. He has good athleticism. Plays fast and consistent on both sides of the ball.
