David Campbell Jr is a top-flight athlete on both sides of the ball. On offense, he played as a wide receiver and as a wildcat quarterback. As a wide receiver, he flashed impressive skills. His ability to separate from defenders and catch the ball is excellent. His speed stands out as well. Then his ball skills are excellent; he outjumped defenders for catches. Then he ran the ball as a wildcat quarterback. He also showed a good ability to block downfield. Then, as a defensive back, he made plays all over the field. His ability to break on the ball is excellent. Then he is a good tackler, who tackles with authority. Campbell Jr. is a great athlete in the 2028 class.

David Campbell Jr is a talented player who is having a strong summer season, showing his skills at College Showcases and 7 on 7 tournaments. He has a chance to be a difference maker at wide receiver for PCC next year. His ability to create separation against defenders is excellent, as he is able to get open and catch the ball. He is also good after the catch by using his speed to separate from defenders. Campbell has the tools to be an excellent receiver for PCC this season.
Had another great weekend in the DMV at the @PrepRedzone tournament, I had fun competing against great competition and meeting a few coaches, Here’s a few of my offensive reps from the tournament !!

Campbell had an explosive weekend. He was a big target over the middle of the field and consistently got open against man coverage. He is a freak athletically and did well at turning up field and turning on the afterburners. He worked primarily out of the slot and was just an open target when facing inferior athletes over the middle.

I had the pleasure of seeing David Campbell at the Prep Redzone 7 on 7 tournament. Campbell is an explosive athlete who can do it all on the football field. He projects as a wide receiver and as a defensive back at the high school level. Campbell has elite traits and should be able to play either position at a high level. Campbell has a chance to have a great High School career.

. to shine on both sides of the field tomorrow for the 14u AIT squad and to be one of the fastest kids on the field. Watching his game tape Campbell can catch passes out of the backfield with ease and he can line up at wideout making plays too. He do both very well on film, even winning a couple of 50/50 balls against defenders that had close to 5 inches on him it did not matter. I specifically went and saw his tape against Carlynton freshmen team (see below) and came away believing this kid has the heart of a lion.
