David Cage David Cage 5'11" | 195 lbs | LB Independence | 2027 State VA is the man at linebacker for Independence High School, he helped lead the Tigers on nice playoff run. He is very physical at the point of attack and the way he reads and reacts makes me believe he will be playing at the FCS or higher level soon. The all region selection, Cage was previously on our Watch List, but I knew after watching some of his regular season work back in October that he needed to be ranked.

Junior linebacker David Cage David Cage 5'11" | 195 lbs | LB Independence | 2027 State VA out of Independence High School probably will not be Watch Listed when we updated the 2027 rankings this winter. Cage is quick to the ball carrier, his read and react is very impressive. He could easily top 100 tackles before season’s end at this rate, he rarely doesn’t miss either.
