David Akinsuroju David Akinsuroju 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB/LB Eastern Technical | 2027 State MD established himself as one of Eastern Tech’s most consistent big-play weapons this season, finishing his junior season with 16 touchdowns. Akinsuroju runs with patience behind his blocks, allowing lanes to develop before exploding through the crease. Once he reaches the second level, his speed shows up, as he has the ability to beat defenders to the edge and turn routine carries into chunk plays. His blend of vision, acceleration, and scoring production makes him a dynamic offensive threat and a player defenses must account for on every snap.

A player who recently came across my radar and is breaking out in a big way this season. David is an impact player on both sides of the ball for Eastern Tech, playing both RB and LB and performing lights out at both.At RBs he’s had a game of over 250yds and 4 TDs and at LB who routinely racks up tackles and makes plays in the backfield.

David looks athletic on film, moves well in space and plays fast. He flies to the ball on D and tackles through the ball carrier. At RB he shows nice cutting ability, some quick feet/twitchy hips and solid breakaway speed. As he continues to fill out his frame, I feel he will be best at LB however. A high academic prospect as well, think he will be a sleeper prospect going forward. One colleges need to see this winter/spring as he could be a gem – will certainly get a spot in the next rankings update.
