Daulton Tarter Daulton Tarter 5'9" | 200 lbs | ATH Bracken County | 2026 State KY is a player who has been high on my radar since his freshman year. He is coming off a very impressive junior season in which he rushed for over 2,000 yards and 32 touchdowns. Tarter is a strong runner who has shown the ability to keep his legs churning through contact to break tackles with ease. Once he hits the open field, he has also proven to have the burst of speed to run away from the defense on long runs. Tarter also caught 10 passes for 92 yards last season. He honestly could’ve made my Preseason All-State defense as well as he was dominant as a linebacker/strong safety last season, finishing the year with 92 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a team-high six interceptions, returning five of them for touchdowns. Daulton doesn’t currently hold any offers but I can see some coming his way soon as he has received a good amount of college interest.

Tarter is a physical runner who has shown the ability to lower his shoulder and run straight through defenders without breaking stride. He also caught 10 passes for 92 yards as a junior. On defense, Tarter lines up at linebacker where he proved to be very reliable in pass coverage this past season, coming away with a team-high six interceptions, returning five of them for touchdowns. He also finished this past season with 92 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and three sacks. Daulton has received some college interest and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up this offseason.

Daulton is a very strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact while keeping his balance to break tackles with ease without losing stride. He has also shown the ability to hit a second gear and run away from the defense once he hits the open field. Tarter also finished the regular season with nine catches for 68 yards and played a huge role on defense at linebacker, accounting for 72 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, one sack, and five interceptions (four returned for touchdowns). Daulton doesn’t currently hold any offers but he has received some college interest and will definitely be a player to continue to watch.

He played a key role on both sides of the ball in Bracken County’s dominant win over Gallatin County. On offense, Tarter served as his team’s lead back, carrying the ball 11 times for 181 yards and three touchdowns. He is a physical runner, showing the ability to run straight through defenders without losing stride. Tarter has also shown the speed to run away from the defense on long runs once he hits the open field. Daulton also made a huge impact on defense at linebacker, finishing the game with six tackles, two tackles for loss, and two interceptions, returning both of them for touchdowns. Tarter doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player who college coaches should be playing close attention to.

Once he hits the open field, he has shown the speed to run away from the defense on long runs. Daulton has also made a huge impact on defense at linebacker this season, accounting for 43 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, one sack, and two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). Tarter doesn’t currently hold any offers but he has received some college interest and should be a player to keep an eye on over the next couple season.

He played a key role on both sides of the ball in Bracken County’s victory over Nicholas County. On offense, he is a strong runner out of the backfield, showing the ability to run straight through defenders without breaking stride. He finished this past week with 19 carries for 248 yards and five touchdowns. Tarter also had a strong game at linebacker, finishing with 11 tackles and four tackles for loss. Daulton doesn’t currently hold any offers but he has the talent to play on either side of the ball at the next level.
