Dashawn has very elite footwork that allows him to get in and out his breaks very smooth with some burst. Due to playing at the receiver position Dashawn plays defensive back exceptionally well. Coles has very fluid hips and has the speed to make up if he gets beat on a play. Due to only getting a small sample size of him playing he showed very good coverage skills.

As a wide receiver, I love the way he gets in and out of his breaks. He has a quickness that makes him hard to cover. He is a perfect slot because of his quickness and burst. Then he has the speed to run past defenders. Then, as a defensive back, he shows good coverage skills. On both sides of the ball, Coles balled out.

I would imagine Coach Overton will have Coles at both receiver and corner. He is very instinctive and could be Saint James top defensive back for their 2026 season. Ranking at 50th overall, I see his stock just beginning to rise before we approach Week 1.
