About Darrick

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Coaches, I pride myself on anticipating routes and reading the quarterback's eyes, allowing me to close fast and aggressively pursue the ball for interceptions or pass breakups. I'm always trying to make a play in the air. While I can cover, I love to play near the box. I am a very willing and effective run-support defender, bringing force and solid tackles.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm coachable. I don't let a bad play roll over into the next. I'm usually a GET IT DONE player. As a safety I command the mid the calls and make sure we are aligned correctly. I don't like losing. If I lose..I am learning.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I do community service with my team for the elementary school nearby

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that accept me and my play style. I know I can contribute with the essentially coaching development within the program.
