About Darrian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a fast, shifty RB/slot who can threaten defenses every snap. I accelerate quickly, make people miss in space, and run with low pad level and balance. I can run between the tackles, bounce outside, or flex out in the slot and win routes, and I finish every run falling forward.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a competitive, team‑first player who loves to work. I take coaching, study film, and focus on the details so I can be trusted in any situation. I’m confident but humble, and I play with high energy, toughness, and poise no matter the score.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and work ethic. I lead by example in the weight room and on the field, encourage my teammates, and hold myself accountable. Through community service and school activities, I’ve learned how to work with different people and represent my program the right way.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve often been overlooked because of my height, but that’s driven me to outwork everyone around me. I’ve focused on getting stronger (bench 225, squat 315), improving my speed and quickness, and refining my technique so that coaches see production and toughness instead of just measurables.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values development, competition, and family. I want a program that will push me on the field and in the classroom, with coaches who are honest and invested in their players. I’m open to any level that believes in me, fits my academic goals, and gives me an opportunity to contribute, earn my role, and help the team win.
