Last season, Dante was a very good role player on the UofD offense. First off, his size is ideal. 6’3″ 195 projects very well in college, and he could skyrocket up the rankings with a breakout 2024 season.
As of his latest highlight tape, Dante is a decent route runner, has good hands, and good contested catch ability. Though, he needs to work on the little details plus effort after the catch in order to up his rank. His tape is full of targets, but he doesn’t do too much after the catch. I’d love to see Dante run through arm tackles and work on his contact balance a bit. I’d also love to see him clean up his routes and prove he can do the little things correctly. Still, Dante is a great High School receiver with very high upside- that’s why he’s ranked where he is. I can’t wait to see what Dante can do next season, and if he plays well, he will rank up quite a bit.
