is an up-and-coming player who is set to take on bigger roles on both sides of the ball after recording 18 tackles, a TFL, an interception, a fumble recovery, 26 carries, six receptions, 198 rushing yards, 107 receiving yards, three rushing touchdowns, and a receiving touchdown. Daniel’s versatile skillset makes it hard to project him to one position, but with his combination of size and speed, I could see him playing receiver at the college level. He displays great burst coming off the ball with the ability to get a clean release from defenders at the start of his route. Young’s underrated speed allows him to quickly challenge DBs vertically before making a quick move at the break-off point. Strong hands. Daniel’s playmaking ability with the ball in his hands was impressive, as he could find small creases to attack or use his strong contact balance to keep himself upright through contact. At 6’3″ and 185 pounds, I could also see Daniel playing a S/nickel type role where he can use his range to cover from sideline to sideline while also being a bigger body to fill the box with.
