Already identified as one of my favorite prospects after watching his film, Dan Russo Dan Russo 6'1" | 220 lbs | RB Delsea | 2025 State NJ made a big leap from the watch list to the #33 overall ranked prospect in New Jersey. A linebacker and Wing-T fullback, the Delsea product packs a helluva punch. Perhaps the most powerful prospect in the state, Russo does two things extremely well: get down hill and attack – all with power. Russo possesses a burst through the line and accelerates well, allow him to bowl through his matchup on either side of the ball. A good hitter who rallies to the ball extremely well on defense, Russo protects the ball through contact and wants to run you over. Similarly, he can shoot a gap with speed, wrap well when tackling, and tackle to his leverage. He can move a pile back and also move it forward. Watch his film. Russo will be one of your favorite prospects too.

after an incredible, breakthrough season as a junior, Russo is now a state champion. The scary thing? He has one more season to play. In the 13-game slate, Russo failed to rush for 100+ yards just twice and scored in all but one game. In the victory against West Essex, Russo rushed 22 times for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. He looks to repeat as a champion again next season.

Dan Russo Dan Russo 6'1" | 220 lbs | RB Delsea | 2025 State NJ has been one of the most dominant players in the state on both sides of the ball. The junior FB and LB for Delsea has helped lead his team to the championship game through his hard hitting tendencies on defense and his bruise causing habits as a runner.
Offensively, Dan has amassed 1542 yards on the ground this year and has 24 touchdowns to go with it. Handling over 200 carries this year, Dan has been reliable with the ball in his hands and is not going down with arm tackles or by grabs at the jersey. He is one of the most punishing runners in the state, and I feel bad for any player that has to meet him in the hole.
