Felder is a top 10 DB in the state. He is coming into his own and had 17 pass break-up. This athlete knows how to handle himself. Not afraid to come down and make the hit. This young man has a lot of upside. He has great hip and excellent ball awareness. He can play any coverage asked of him already has the size to play at the next level. I can see a D1 player but as of now he holds 3 juco offers. He should be one of the most polished DB in his class when it is all said and done.

With over 17 passes defended in the 2022 season, Damon Felder Damon Felder 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Gulfport | 2024 State MS was one of the most productive defensive backs on the coast this past season. At 6’1″, Felder has great size for the position and uses his length to his advantage. This is an instinctual and smart player that knows how to play the ball in the air. In zone coverage, Felder has good hips and can transition well. He doesn’t allow receivers to stack on top of him, and if he is beat initially, he has the speed to make up for it. Athletically, Felder has good speed and burst to him and shows the ability to run with the best of them. When the ball is in the air, he can quickly get his head turned and jar the ball out of the receivers hands using his length. Although he currently holds no offers, expect for Felder to start picking up some looks as the offseason progresses.
