Broussard made the most of his opportunities as a sophomore, turning limited touches into 700 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns last season. His efficiency jumps off the page—showing good vision, burst through the hole, and the ability to finish runs despite not being a featured back. With an expanded role and continued physical development, Broussard has the tools to take a significant step forward and emerge as a key offensive contributor for Carson moving ahead.

We haven’t had a ton of players in our rankings out of Carson High School, but we love Broussard’s upside. While playing multiple offensive positions, including quarterback and running back, Broussard put up promising numbers, averaging over five yards a carry and catching a few passes out of the backfield as well. A two-way player, he’s also flashed as a defensive back in the 7-on-7 circuit thus offseason.
