About Damarion

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am explosive off the line, with power that will command your attention. Every move serves a purpose, and I never lose my composure. I meet the demands of the game with controlled aggression. My style would best be described as raw athleticism and mental strength.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Calm under pressure. Precise. I play with quiet confidence and a growth mindset. I always seek ways to improve my game play—striving to make each play better than the last. I am never satisfied with “good enough,” and I hold myself to a high standard. I play with heart, discipline, and a fierce drive to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am on the Outreach committee for my church, St. Mary CME.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have a heart for service, I’ve supported community events for elderly and disabled residents through our local Public Housing program where my mom is Housing Manager. I’m known as a “quiet but assertive” leader—respected by teammates of all ages for my steady presence and ability to uplift others. I thrive in team settings, encouraging while also leading with humility and purpose.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In Jan 2024, I lost my paternal grandmother to cancer. In May 2024, I unexpectedly lost my favorite uncle in the world, Uncle Boosee. In Dec 2024, I lost my maternal grandmother. My mother, father, brother, and I had moved in to take care of her because she had dementia. Even though her personality had changed, and she would sometimes become aggressive towards me, I still loved her very much.

What type of college are you looking for?

D1 to D3, maybe JUCO. I just want to continue to do what I love, and that's play football.
