That translated well to the rest of the camp, where he showed solid downhill speed in 1v1s by getting behind defenders on deep routes and his agility by creating separation at the break point. Strong base and bend help him maintain a consistent pad level.

We got eyes on Cooper as an 8th grader where he was heads and shoulders above most middle schoolers in the area athletically and physically at that stage of their development. He’s continued that at the high school level with legit 5’11 190 size and developed speed. Cooper is a one-cut-and-go runner who can add some change of direction and wiggle to his game but will come downhill physically or outrace defenders down the sideline if he gets a step on them. Look for him to put up some big numbers for the Monarchs over the next three years.
