I’m a big fan of high-level offensive line tape, and Hanson checks that box to a “T”. He kicks off his Week 3 highlight reel with a phenomenal pull that ends in a violent collision where he teakettles a defensive end. Hanson gets to the second level early and often where he mauls linebackers. He’s a high-level run-blocker who can create giant running lanes for his ball carriers, and he has an NSIC upside that should be explored by college coaches.

Dallas Hanson Dallas Hanson Dallas Hanson 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL/DL Lake City | 2025 State MN blossomed in 2023 as one of the top blockers in the state. A versatile lineman, Hanson has been utilized in both Guard positions as well as Right Tackle. Hanson has immense power, and used it to overwhelm defenders last season. Hanson was utilized a lot as a pulling Guard for counter plays and was extremely effective in this role. Hanson has already visited with several schools ranging from D1 to D3 and has an offer from Dordt. If Hanson has another season like he did in 2023, he will surge toward the very top of the Minnesota OL rankings in 2024.

Hanson, who has been contributing to the Lake City varsity OL since he a freshman but unfortunately suffered a sprained MCL in week two of the 2022 season and only competed in three games during the season, hampering his current ranking among the OL and overall in the 2025 class. However, the rankings are far from solidified, and he has a plethora of time and game reps to improve on his current ranking right at OL10. At 6’2, 255 lbs., the two games of film from 2022 shows off an OT and DL that gets off the ball quickly, has good pop and can win reps at the initial contact point, and is mobile and able to effectively block at the second level against smaller, faster defenders. Next season will be a major one for Hanson and his recruiting stock on the gridiron.
