Serra (Gardena) defensive back Dakoda Fields Dakoda Fields Dakoda Fields 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Serra | 2024 State CA flipped his commitment from USC to Oregon on Monday.

Fields announced his commitment to USC in early June but reversed his decision this past weekend.

He is a lengthy cornerback who excels in man coverage and does a good job setting the edge while defending the run.

Fields visited Oregon on June 23 and the visit made him reconsider his commitment to USC.

He is the seventh player from California in Oregon’s 2024 recruiting class.

Serra (Gardena) defensive back Dakoda Fields Dakoda Fields Dakoda Fields 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Serra | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to USC on Monday.

Fields is a lengthy cornerback who excels in man coverage and does a good job setting the edge while defending the run.

He chose USC over 25 other schools that offered him. He visited USC on June 2 and has two visits coming up at Miami and Oregon.

Fields is the third player from California in USC’s 2024 recruiting class and is the eighth overall player.

Serra of Gardena defensive back Dakoda Fields Dakoda Fields Dakoda Fields 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Serra | 2024 State CA picked up an offer from Nebraska last week.

Fields was at the Under Armour Next Camp on Sunday and performed well against a very good crop of receivers.

He is up to 26 offers now including Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and USC among others.

Fields has a multi-day visit to Oregon coming up on April 10-12.
