Burk is a mauler  who can hold his own in the run or passing game. His run blocking is one of the best the state has to offer. The pass blocking is above average but would love to improve on it. His height is the only thing that hurt his scouting report. Might have to move inside to play at the next level. With his quickness and strength the sky is the limit for him. This is a guy I will go see in person to see how many pancakes he can get.

A 6’3″ 270 pound tackle out of Ridgeland High School, Cyson Burk Cyson Burk 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Ridgeland HighSchool | 2024 State MS projects as a college level guard. Burk is an extremely athletic big man who does a great job at playing in space. The rising senior has great feet and can pull in gap scheme runs, or be a lead blocker in the screen game. As a run blocker, Burk plays with good leverage and uses his hands well. He doesn’t overextend and uses his strength to move defenders where they do not want to be. As a pass protector, Burk slides well and can mirror rushers movements. He does not give up a ton of ground and give his quarterback great blind side protection. Although he is a tackle right now, it is hard to not love his potential at the next level as a guard that can pull and be used all across the run game. He currently holds no offers, but expect Burk to add some attention soon. Athletes are hard to come by on the offensive line.
