Law ended his stellar high school career by winning a state title for his CPA squad then he walked away as the D2-Class AA Mr. Football this year. He also took his game to another level by increasing his speed, range and football intelligence, so there was no question that Law had to be bumped up in our latest rankings update to a Top 15 overall in-state prospect. The Lions senior prospect has all the tools to develop into a starting middle linebacker during his time at North Carolina. Law is physical and smart along with the range to chase down the ball sideline to sideline. He also has the athleticism and speed to rush the backfield or pull back and play in coverage. This is a warrior on the football field that gives his all and will not give up or slow down his motor till the final whistle. The Tar Heels are getting a stud here and someone that could see the field in Chapel Hill sooner than later.

Playing in his last high school game ever as a CPA Lion, Law put everything on the line and out on that field yesterday as he was determined to help his team achieve a D2-Class AA championship and that’s exactly what he did. Playing on both sides of the ball for his Lions team, Law did everything he could to help while dealing with a serious arm injury that you could tell was bothering him but it wasn’t going to keep him off the field. Law produced the 1st points of the game in the 1st quarter with a long touchdown run that set the tone then he proceeded to make several hard hitting tackles throughout against the Bucs run game. His leadership and toughness exuberated throughout the rest of his teammates that there was no way CPA was losing this game with Law out there putting his body on the line. Expect this kind of play and determination during his time at North Carolina, starting in the Fall.

A leader with a great grasp for the game of football, Law is a true middle linebacker that brings a lot of cerebral knowledge and physical game play to the field along with the range to chase down the ball on a consistent basis. Law is a heady ball player that knows how to put himself in position to either make a play on the ball or be the cause that helps his teammates make plays. He can also run and when he diagnoses the ball early, he doesn’t hesitate as he attacks with a vicious approach. Law comes in ranked 27th overall through our 1st senior rankings but he holds the Power Five offers and talents to rise up during our next update and someone that could see the field early in his college career.
