Baxter will be tasked to aid in a pass rush that will be much needed this year. He has good size and is good off the ball, he shows good bend at the hip and has good burst to slip by his blocker to close ground in pursuit. He does well against the run and has gap integrity. He’ll be looking to be the leading sacker this year for the Wasps.

Baxter is a versatile defensive lineman, but with his size and frame, I prefer him as an EDGE rusher, but he can and will work as an interior rusher. He has a good first step with active hands and a great bend to get around the edges. Baxter shows off his athleticism by moving exceptionally well and has great hand-eye coordination. For such a violent, physical rusher, he has soft hands and can drop back in coverage if need be. Baxter has an array of rush moves, and when he moves inside, he showcases his strength and will use his lateral quickness along with his suddenness to get an interior offensive lineman off balance and uses his hands to finish his blocker and disrupt a play in the backfield. Baxter is a player who needs to be recruited and should get looks regionally. High upside talent.

Baxter is an athletic prospect that shows ability to bend at the LOS. Plays with initial quickness to read and react. Strength at the POA to control and shed blocks to get to the ball carrier. Shows burst to get upfield and use of hands to make quick contact to get to the QB. Adding size to his frame at the next level will make him a productive player along the defensive interior.
