Corey Smith Corey Smith 6'0" | 190 lbs | LB Lacey | 2025 State NJ may not have ranked out as a top linebacker, but there are more than enough redeeming qualities to his game. Smith has the ability to make plays both over the top and underneath blockers in the run game. He takes particularly good angles near the goal line, putting the pressure on the offense. In pass protection he does a good job getting to his spot at the appropriate depth, sinking, and then getting his head on a swivel. Lastly, he breaks on the ball when it is thrown, reacting to passes well when covering.
