Epale is coming off a monster year at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. The 6’3, 185-pound Athlete plays both sides of the ball but will definitely be a CB1 at the next level. I had the chance to speak to one of his former coaches and he described Epale as “Glue. He’s glue all over the field. He leaves little separation between him and defenders, and is just one of those guys you can trust to leave on an island all game against the other teams top guy.” The high praise is deserved as everything Epale displays on film is exactly that. With a high motor to find the ball, Epale rarely is left in a position searching for the ball once it’s thrown. In coverage Epale is one of the countries best, I would like to see him become a more violent tackler. As a shutdown cornerback though, he’s one of Canada’s biggest stock risers.

He is ranked as the #1 defensive back in New Hampshire and also the #23 ranked defensive back in the New England region. He attends Phillips Exeter in New Hampshire.

Has good field awareness to run support needs and knows when to come up to help. Reacts quickly to those needs. He tackles with a wrap and roll technique.  He has a lot of range being 6’3″ and playing defensive back.  Plays physically and experienced in press-man coverages.

His recruitment should increase during the 2023 April spring evaluation period.
