Wade is a phenomenal edge rusher, and I’m glad to see his rankings has skyrocketed to reflect his play. At 6’5 230-pounds, he accounted for 64 total tackles (27 solo, 37 assisted), 12.5 TFL, 7 sacks, 17 QB pressures, 2 PD, 2 FR, and a blocked field goal. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, lateral agility, change of direction, and good speed. He has elite strength, and wins reps consistently against whoever is lined up against him. Elite quickness out of his stance, instantly engaging with the defender. Very good bend around the edge, showing his flexibility. Very good bull rush. Very good block shedding and get off speed. This dude is a monster and will be looking to build upon a nice junior season.

Wade made major noise during the offseason, climbing up the rankings thanks to a strong junior campaign and standout performances at team camps. His 64 tackles and 7 sacks as a disruptive force on defense led to a flurry of attention, as he has a commitment to UC-Davis. Wade plays fast, physical, and relentless, with a motor that never stops. He’s a tone setter who consistently applies pressure and sets the edge in the run game. With momentum on his side, he’s a strong candidate for first team all-state honors and could emerge as one of the most productive defenders in the class.

The 6’5 230-pound defensive end accounted for 64 total tackles (27 solo, 37 assisted), 12.5 TFL, 7 sacks, 17 QB hurries, 2 PD, 2 FR, and a blocked field goal. He uses his elite strength to overpower anyone who lines up against him. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, lateral agility, and good speed. Elite quickness out of his stance. He instantly engages with the offensive line. Very good bend around the edge mixed with a very good bull rush. He is consistently knocked the OL off their anchor. Wade lived in the backfield using his very good block shedding and very good acceleration to eat up the QB and RB. I’m thoroughly impressed with how Wade plays and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s get multiple season awards next year.

A disruptive edge rusher, Wade consistently impacts the game by setting the edge and disrupting the offense’s rhythm. His explosive first step allows him to win off the snap, using speed and strength to pressure the quarterback or get his hands in passing lanes. His arsenal of pass rushing moves makes him a difficult matchup for offensive linemen. If he can build on his impressive season, Wade will continue turning heads and solidifying his reputation as a player to watch.

Wade was a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks, recording seven sacks and 17 QB hurries. His ability to live in the backfield made him a constant problem for offenses. At 6’5, Wade uses his length to bat down passes at the line of scrimmage when he can’t reach the quarterback. He finished the season with 64 total tackles, proving he is more than just a pass rusher. His combination of size, speed, and instincts makes him a key player to know moving forward, as he looks to dominate once again next season.

2nd in total sacks for all 3A. 1st in sacks for 3A juniors. The 6’4 220-pound defense end had 64 total tackles (27 solo, 37 assisted), 12.5 TFL, 7 sacks, 17 QB hurries, 2 PD, 2 FR, and 1 blocked field goal. Wade is a beast at the line of scrimmage. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, lateral agility, good speed and change of direction. I don’t say this often, but he has elite strength. Wade runs through whoever is in front of him. Even double blocks don’t stop this kid. Elite initial quickness out of his stance. It’s almost instant, allowing Wade to initiate contact first. He has that rare quick twitch needed to excel at the next level. Very good bend around the edge. Very good hand strength and hand placement, needed to move the OL away. Very good bull rush. Wade consistently knocks tackles off their anchor. He has a high motor and plays through the whistle, whether it’s helping his teammates or finishing a block, Wade is giving it his all. He will also use his lengthy arms to create pass deflections at the line of scrimmage. He is a phenomenal player, and I place him as one of the top defensive ends in all of Colorado.
