It has been a busy winter for the two-time defending state champion wrestler at 175 a year ago and then this year at 190 pounds. He also recently won the Folkstyle National Championship just for good measure. On the gridiron, he is coming off a good junior season, starting six of nine games and making it happen when he did. In his first three games as a starter he rolled for almost 600 yards and six TD’s, culminating with 200+ against state-champ Andover Central. On the year he gained 1,128 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. He is a big, strong, explosive back who uses his aggressive, slashing style to pound the rock between the tackles, but also has good burst and is elusive and slippery in the open field. He has continued to train for football while decimating opponents in wrestling and is still in the process of mapping out his camp/visit plans for the summer. Expect him to leave a path of mass destruction once he hits the football field this fall.
