About Cooper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a Sophomore for Heritage in 2024/2025, Cooper played a large role in the strong playoff run made by the Eagles. As the season progressed, he became a starter at the CB and FS positions. Cooper is quick and hard hitting. As a sophomore, Cooper was also named JV defensive player of the year.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Cooper has amazing knowledge of the game. That along with his toughness and determination to be successful made him a standout in 2024.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Cooper is in AP courses. Cooper is also a standout baseball player. A player for both Heritage High School and the 18U Hitstreak Club out of Highlands Ranch. Positions include:Pitcher, Infield and Outfiield.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through years of football and baseball, Cooper has developed many leadership qualities. Knowing that Teamwork is the most important part.

What type of college are you looking for?

Just the opportunity to play football or baseball at the next level would be an honor.

Marquis offers versatility as a hybrid defender who can play in the box or drop back into coverage. He recorded 46 total tackles and uses his speed to play sideline to sideline making plays. With returning talent around him, Marquis could play more freely this upcoming season and be a candidate to boost his interception totals and be able to play like his hair is on fire. His ability to fly to the football will keep him on radars and make him a name you will need to know moving forward.
