About Conor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fast, physical player who likes to hit. I love every aspect of the game from studying film, planning, strategizing and practicing with my teammates and coaches. I love the atmosphere of a Friday night game, the roar of the crowd, executing the game plan by working hard and supporting my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a player who leads by example through hard work and toughness, but am willing to be vocal when necessary. I am able to stay calm under pressure and my coaches and teammates know they can rely on me. I also take responsibility for my play and contributions on the field as well as my off season training. I am coachable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the National Honor Society. I am a High Honor Roll student. I am involved in community service endeavors in my community. I coach youth ice hockey and basketball. I am active in my church and support a number of charitable organizations.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership qualities. I take initiative in projects and guide others toward common goals. I thrive in a setting that emphasizes teamwork. I enjoy collaborating with others towards shared goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I played Varsity my Freshman year. It was our team's first year back to 11 man after playing 8 man for several years. In the middle of the season I was charged with taking on the starting quarterback position. Despite having never played this position before I studied the offense, stayed late with coaches and worked with trainers to refine my skills. I started at Middle LB as well.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am interested in playing football at any level at a college with great academic programs.

Drnek, has made an appearance on this list in almost every week. After Dover took home a 26-20 playoff win against Monticello, the Junior ATH, once again find himself on the stat sheet stuffers list.

Passing wise, Drnek went 3/7 on his throws and had 21 yards and one interception. On the ground, he had 21 carries, 145 yards, and three touchdowns. He also made an impact on defense, adding 12 tackles, two of which were for a loss.
