Stats: 8 Receptions, 137 Yards, 1 TDrnThe 5’11” 170 lbs senior had himself a week this past Friday. He has developed a solid base of WR skills that should garner him more attention than he has. Connor shown good concentration, and hand- eye coordination on his TD catch. He had to haul in the pass with the defender’s hands right there at the catch point as well. After the catch, Johnson was a slippery runner. He pulled away from multiple tackle attempts throughout the game, and was able to shake and juke himself into space to pick up yards after the catch. I was impressed by his catch radius shown when he had to go up and get a ball that was overthrown. Connor was explosive enough to go up and get it. Good showing by the senior this week.
