About Connor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Most of the time while I'm playing, I'm constantly searching through the defensive backfield whether it's a run or pass to search for the defense's weakest point. When I run the ball, I like to play the patient game and wait until I see something I can attack whether it's a player or wide-open grass. I like to be more on the physical side of running the ball but make a move to make a man miss.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality during gametime is focusing on what is in front of me. I shut all the noise out and look ahead. My personality during game is a lot more nonchalant, I won't be completely quiet, but I won't be very loud.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received many high honor rewards with having a GPA over 3.5 through the past couple years

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am not the loudest guy, but have learned the team looks at me as a leader because of my actions. I try to keep a good attitude even when things aren't going our way. Others see that, and it helps keep them from getting down. I learned community service by helping with my little brother's football team a couple of years ago when he was still playing.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Coming from a small school background, just working on overcoming the small town vibe of earning a position. Had to move to a new school my 7th grade year and didn't know anyone. Playing football helped with making friends and understanding life, and as I have gotten better over the years both have gotten easier too.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a small to medium sized college in the midwest that helps me see how both the school and football program are a good fit. I also want to go to a school that has the classes for nursing. I am look for a school with great coaches that feel welcoming and want to invest in helping to make me better as a student and person, as well as help me grow as a player.
