After revisiting his junior tape, South Loup’s Conner Paulsen Conner Paulsen 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB South Loup | 2026 State NE should receive a solid bump up in the rankings. The incoming senior is a versatile athlete who I could see playing RB, WR, CB, LB, or S at the next level. Offensively, Conner projects very well as an RB, displaying a good mix of speed and toughness when he runs. One of my biggest takeaways from Conner’s tape was his ability to stay upright even when fighting through contact. He’s not a super big RB, but he does play with excellent contact balance and a strong base. He’s also more than willing to bring the fight to the defense with stiff arms and dropping his pads to lay out opposing defenders in his way. Defensively, Paulsen displays a great nose for the football as he does a great job tracking and closing on the ball.
