Colton’s future is as a nickel and/or safety, but as a sophomore the 5’11” 185 lbs athlete was a force at OLB. His speed for the position is outstanding, allowing him to fly into the backfield from a wide alignment and still get to the QB before they can get the ball out or chase down an RB from behind. Colton is a heat-seeking missile off the edge. Being able to provide that impact in the backfield, and also be trusted to drop into coverage and provide reliable coverage is a cheat code for a DC. His versatility is thanks to his athleticism, aggressive play style, and high football IQ. Big things ahead for the Pewaukee game changer.

is off to a hot start for the Pewaukee defense. He is Top 3 in tackles on the team with 13.5 while also adding a sack and a TFL. I love the versatility that Colton has shown with his alignment. You will find Colton playing off the edge or back at the traditional safety spot. His speed shines throughout his first three weeks highlights. He can cover ground and disrupt plays in the backfield even if he doesn’t get all the way home. Wall has also flashed that he can play man to man coverage against a slot WR and make plays to break up passes. Colton is definitely trending up in this Class.
The Pewaukee freshman put himself on my radar on Sunday with his testing and with multiple wow plays that caught my eyes. The 5’8″ 150 lbs freshman RB ran 4.93 in the 40, and demonstrated game changing agility, body control, and change of direction with a 4.40 shuttle time and a 7.05 L-Drill. Colton first caught my eyes with his shuttle. Easy flexibility to dip and touch the line then burst the other direction are difficult traits to have, but Colton is showing it as a freshman. On top of the special athleticism making him difficult to cover, Colton also has reliable hands. He caught my attention again with a one handed grab he made during the session. I’m interested in how Wall continues to grow and develop.
