About Colton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can be a coverage or post block type of player while snapping. I feel as I am very versatile, and agile.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe that I can achieve anything that I put my mind to. There will always be a way to make impossible possible. I believe that am a somewhat funny person. I enjoy the outdoors with my friends and family. So I definitely enjoying having quality time with them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honors Society Cavalier Ambassador Student Council Rep Youth Football Coach Academic All-State

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a skill of learning how to take someone under your wing and work with them, show them the ropes of high school. I think this is a huge factor in how I hold my self accountable, because when I look at something I did, would I want that person I took in to do the same? It just gives you that extra level of discipline I feel.

Colton has been making his rounds all spring and summer to different camps to put himself on the radar of colleges. At one particular camp, I watched him garner about 5 offers in the span of a half hour. He is consistent, his motion is pure, and whether it’s short field goal snaps or long punt snaps, Colton puts it on target with some zip on the ball you don’t typically see from a high school LS. With a lot of offers in his pocket, and more I’m sure to come, this is one of the elite specialists in our state.
