Colt made his college commitment to Villanova on New Year’s Day and Nova should be celebrating the get. Colt is a top #200 player in the recent 2025 rankings and the #25 overall OL prospect.
I’ve been evaluating Colt for ~2 years now, with him always producing stand out play and have viewed him as a scholarship player. With impressive size at 6’5″ and an 82 1/2″ wingspan, Colt meets the physical requirements for a high level OL. He is strong, powerful and a natural knee bender who can get out in space.
Colt had multiple other FCS schools that offered and were interested and I’m sure the Villanova coaches are excited about securing his commitment. Look for Colt to be a future starter for the Wildcats once he gets further developed in a college weight room.
Proud to announce my commitment to @NovaFootball! Excited for this opportunity! Go Cats!@devine_sean @CoachRiede @coachferranteVU @StMarysSaints @STMSaintsFB @FATboysOLine pic.twitter.com/nsSlwZm5oe

Colt is a mountain of a player at 6’5″ 290 with a self reported 82.5″ wingspan, you can teach that size. Don’t be fooled though, he can move all that size well. Plays on his toes, light on his feet and shows to be a good athlete who can run out in space. He will routinely pull down the line or get up to the second level taking on a LB. What I like about Colt on film is he is able be effective in a lot of different blocking styles. He can down block well driving the defender out of the play and opening up a huge hole. Can combo block, knowing when to release and slid up to get the second level defender. You will see him reach block and seal off the defender and as previously stated successfully pull and kick out the edge. That is a lot of versatility to his game that makes Colt a valuable prospect. Only thing I’d like to see is Colt continuing to get stronger in his frame, but he still packs a strong punch and can take defenders off their feet. While also holding a 4.0 GPA, he will be impressing a lot of coaches during camp season this summer.
