About Coleton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile quarterback. I would say I am a dual threat. I am in a run heavy offense but I make the right reads and make completions at a pretty high rate. This past season I was near a 60% completion rate. But I also can run with a 4.7 40 yard dash.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very dedicated to sports. I play 3 sports and I work very hard for all of them. I’m always the first person to help my teammates up and I also take accountability. I never point the finger and my goal is to always make myself and the team better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in a bible study group with my basketball coach every other sunday. It is always the highlight of my week. I also have been honor roll in all 3 years of high school so far.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership is a huge one. As a quarterback, I have to lead. My teammates are always my #1 priority because football is a team sport, I always want to be on the same page with my teammates because that is the key to a winning team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have. My mom suffered a cardiac arrest back in 2021 and 2024 and miraculously survived. So that really taught me to not take things for granted. Now whenever I feel that I don’t want to do anything today, I think of how hard my mom fought to stay alive and that pushes me to keep working.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that supports my major really. My goal is to become an attorney when I get older but also I have a firefighter as my plan B so I just want to go somewhere that will help set me up in the future.
