. A safety, Garreffi follows the quarterbacks eyes well – particularly near the goal line. Using his hands, Garreffi shoots the ally aggressively in the quick game; while also using that same aggressiveness to jump routes and make plays on the ball. When tackling, Garreffi leads with his shoulder when tackling, gator rolling effectively. Taking reps at corner, he keeps his force leverage. Ultimately, Garreffi is a prospect that does a great job breaking on the ball and uses his eyes even better.

He showed some of the quickest first step acceleration of the day, consistently firing out of his stance with a burst, highlighted in his 4.57s shuttle time, which was 5th best of the day. His ability to get up to speed quickly makes him a dangerous threat in short areas in particular. Cole’s quickness suggests he could successfully transition into a slot receiver role if he so chose to, where his acceleration and ability to create separation in space could make him a highly productive offensive weapon.
