The Freshman from Tonganoxie had a solid campaign after filling the shoes from the schools previous Kicker Jackson McWilliams, who was a 4 year starter for Tonganoxie. Cody who is a turned soccer player to a football Kicker saw improvement as the season went on. In the 9 games Cody played he went 35/36 on PAT’s and 1/1 on FG’s. It’s a hard learning curve at first being a soccer player and trying to kick a Football. As the year went on he started to settle in and started seeing the differences between kicking a soccer compared to a football. This is someone who has the raw ability to develop into a skilled Kicker. His progress this offseason has been memorable and I see him potentially rising in the upcoming rankings release.
