Landau did not rack up a lot of tackles as a junior in 2024. It’s because his job was to lock down in coverage, which you see him doing well throughout his 11th-grade highlight video. Landau lines up against outside receivers and can also be found in the slot, looking comfortable and displaying sound technique in both spots. He flips his hips easily and tracks the ball in the air. With a knack for defending bigger and smaller wideouts, he finishes plays, doing everything he can to disrupt the intended receivers completion of the catch until he hits the ground.
