Plays bigger than his frame with a skillset that combines both his speed and power at the contact point. He’s able to navigate traffic smoothly and read his blocks to work to space. He’s quick to get north/south and can lower his shoulder to pick up yards after contact and win the collision battle.

Curley has been a high impact two way varsity player for Chinle since his freshman year at RB/LB. As a sophomore, he took 182 carries for 1,145 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding 68 total tackles on defense. As a ball carrier, he plays bigger than his 5’6” 150 lb. frame using great contact balance and leverage to slip tacklers and win at the POA. Instinctive with his movement, he’s not going to beat opponents with pure speed but flashes well timed moves, good vision, and the ability to set up his cuts to break free. Demonstrates strong ball security through the first level and at the contact point. Will be one of the top players in the 3A division over the next several years. Curley has been a top two-way playmaker in the 3A division since his freshman year. He’s a pure football player that shows good ball carrier instincts and vision. Flashes the patience to allow the play and blocks to develop before attacking a running lane speed and power. Hard-nosed, he’s a tough runner that can absorb contact while maintaining forward momentum or lower the shoulder to initiate contact and drive through defenders.
