The upcoming senior has the potential to take another leap this spring and summer. He displays solid hip twitch flexibility to switch and run with the opposition in man coverage. He also has good read-and-react ability, staying inside the hip pocket off breaks and not allowing separation. Jones attacks downhill against the run with good angles and physicality at the point of attack. Keep an eye on him.

Litte Rock Christian defensive back Clendell Jones Jr. brings speed and athleticism to the position. Jones Jr. displays great hip twitch-flexibility to switch and run with the opposition. His ability to react and stick with receivers on breaks is impressive. Good in man and zone coverage with good ability to read and react, breaking on the ball quick forcing a PBU or short completion. Jones Jr. is someone to keep an eye on during the 2024 season.
