About Chukwuka

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as fast, physical, and relentless. I come off the edge with speed to pressure the quarterback, but I also stay disciplined to stop the run.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to stay disciplined, tough, and relentless no matter the situation. I don’t back down, I stay focused on my assignment, and I always give maximum effort to help my team succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of football, I’m involved in DECA, which has helped me build leadership and teamwork skills. I’ve also received an award for math, which shows my focus and discipline in the classroom as well as on the field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

“I’ve developed leadership and teamwork skills both on and off the field. As a defensive end, I’ve learned how important communication and discipline are to the success of the defense. Being in DECA has helped me strengthen my leadership and problem-solving skills, while football has taught me accountability, resilience, and how to push myself and others to be better every day.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I want a program where I can grow as a football player, but also get a strong education in business, since I’m interested in that field. I’m looking for a school with good support systems, a strong team culture, and a place where I can make an impact.
