After a thorough evaluation of Christian’s 2025 season highlight film, he emerges as a clear stock-up prospect whose production and play speed were consistently evident throughout the year—built with long length and a lean, athletic frame, Christian projects as a disruptive second-level defender who can impact the game both inside-out and on the edge.

Christian’s primary strengths are his anticipation and football awareness. He routinely diagnoses concepts early, allowing him to trigger downhill before plays fully develop. This processing speed is most evident when he is aligned at the edge or in an overhang role, where he demonstrates the ability to bend, dip, and cut corners with urgency. He sets a firm edge against the run, sealing off outside lanes and forcing ball carriers back into pursuit.

From a motor and effort standpoint, Christian checks every box recruiters look for. He plays with constant intent, pursues laterally with range, and finishes plays through the whistle. Once the ball declares, he accelerates with purpose and consistently works himself into the frame, showing up around the football at a high rate. His pursuit angles and backside effort suggest substantial coaching upside and reliability within structured defensive schemes. Christian projects well into being a dominant 3–4 outside linebacker

Christian has good size and plays fast. He plays with sharp field vision, and gets into gaps quickly to make plays. He is solid on the edge or in space and brings the lumber when tackling. He uses violent hands to beat blockers in pass rush and is physical with receivers in coverage. Christian is all out tough and plays with a relentless motor. He is a pretty complete player transferring from Canarsie High School (NYC) to St. Thomas More.

King who had solid freshman film at Holy Cross has taken a nice step in the right direction with his play so far this season for Canarsie. King picked up his first offer from Bowling Green. His development in the weight room and his build will determine his position at the next level but this season has played an EDGE/OLB type role.

King, who spent last season on Holy Cross’ varsity squad as a freshman, is an OLB/EDGE prospect who is listed as a DL because he likely will grow a little bit into that Hybrid OLB/DE role.

On tape, he played defensive end in a four-man front, and he showed the ability to contain the edge and consistently make plays around the LOS. He shows good upfield burst and shoots gaps well. I saw him live at the Classic Camp series, and there was some quality pass-rush stuff from him you don’t see on film because there are not many pass-rush opportunities for him. King does need to continue to develop in the weight room and add some strength/power to his game, but he shows good athleticism and the ability to make plays in a couple of different ways on tape.
