The tone in the trenches starts with 2027 OL/DL Chris Garlow for the Bees. A multi-year starter and East Fairmont’s top college prospect, Garlow brings the size, strength, and physicality every offense wants leading the way. He’s a technically sound lineman who finishes blocks and plays with an edge, while also making his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball. With Glenville State offering this offseason, don’t be surprised if more D2 programs join the mix as he puts together another strong season as a senior.

2027 East Fairmont OL Chris Garlow Chris Garlow 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL East Fairmont | 2027 State WV continues to make steady progress and has turned himself into one of the more notable offensive linemen in the class. A multi-year starter for the Bees, Garlow has shown noticeable improvement each season and is beginning to see that development pay off. His first college offer arrived this offseason from Glenville State, and it would not be surprising to see others follow as coaches continue evaluating the class. Garlow has added to his game year after year and enters his final season of high school football playing his best football to date.

We got eyes on 2027 East Fairmont OL Chris Garlow Chris Garlow 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL East Fairmont | 2027 State WV at our Combine event back in May and believe he’ll develop into one of the more notable big men in this class over time. Garlow was a varsity contributor as a freshman and has potential as a defensive line prospect as well who could one day flip to that side of the ball in our rankings. He has good early size at 6’2 270 which makes him ideal to slide inside to guard on offense and interior DL on defense with film at offensive tackle as a freshman. Although just a two-game sample size of highlights is available right now, Garlow flashed a physical level of play with some nastiness in his game.

Garlow is another prospect that we’ll learn more about through the years to determine his ceiling as a prospect, but the early signs and potential are there to warrant a high ranking at this time.
