There’s not a ton of tape available of Erickson in action on his Hudl page. What we do see looks like a bull in a china shop busting up opposing offensive linemen. Power is the name of the game when it comes to Erickson’s greatest strength. He’s just a handful with his low pad level and leg drive. Erickson isn’t a slug in the middle of the Lincoln D-Line, either. He’s quick off of the snap, moving well laterally and straight ahead. Erickson’s traits help him in getting off blocks and absorbing them, depending on what’s needed on a given pursuit. The Railsplitters statistics on Bound seem off based on what we can see on film, but he was credited with 5.0 tackles for loss and six solo stops overall. And, again, he’s the type of guy that won’t rack up a lot of big numbers but impacts the game with how many opponents he can occupy.
