Chase Johnson Chase Johnson 6'1" | 190 lbs | TE Souderton Area | 2025 PA is grouped in with the pass-catcher group because he’s a legitimate TE prospect, yet you can find him stationed at OLB for Souderton as well. Johnson is a senior who can produce if allowed to do so. Johnson can serve as the Y in the Souderton offense, he’s a crucial component to the blocking scheme. Watching 32 work in person against Cheltenham, he proved to be a serviceable blocker beside tackles. Working tight splits while on the LOS, Johnson is a valued blocker who can leak and catch balls when given the opportunity.
Johnson can also set the edge in run support from his 3-4 OLB role. Clearly a multi-faceted football player who needs to get his Hudl in order if he wants to get real attention from college coaches. I’ve seen Johnson at camps, so he’s going to get eyes in the off-season. Substantial tape detailing his impact blocks, his route running capabilities, as well as his capabilities as a run stopper is a must sooner rather than later.
