Higgs is the next great linebacker to come out of Apple Valley and has plenty of playing experience heading into his sophomore year. Getting plenty of playing time as a freshman last Fall, he made an instant impact and shows he is a downhill thumper, does a good job at knifing into the backfield and displays closing speed and a high IQ when sniffing out plays. Checking into our rankings just outside the top 100, he is another ’28 prospect that has been quietly moving under the radar and should breakout this Fall.
