Although it wasn’t a banner night for the Exeter offense, Barrett’s stock went up after he caught four passes for 75 yards and a touchdown in the loss. One of the state’s top lacrosse players, Barrett hauled in a 41-yard TD pass from quarterback Tyler Ream (8 of 15 for 160 yards) that helped trim Bishop’s Guertin’s lead to 21-14 with 5:55 left in the first half. Barrett nearly had a second TD reception, but couldn’t come up with a catch on a ball thrown behind him in the end zone during Exeter’s opening drive in the third quarter.
