Charlie is a defensive game changer for Conrad DE with over 50 tkls, 12 TFLs and 3 INTs in 5 games. He plays with burst off the snap and closes to the ball quickly. An effective blitzer up the middle, Charlie finds himself the in backfield blowing up the ball carrier. He shows good lateral mobility and movement. Able to re-direct, break on the ball and take smart angles, leading to him securing those INTs and TFLs. Strong enough to take on blockers and fight through the trash, find the ball, and is a strong tackler.

A true baller who brings it every down, every game he is the type of player and D Cord. would want on his defense. A strong academic kid as well carrying a 4.0+ GPA and 1000+ SAT. Charlie should be getting strong looks from Patriot level schools this fall.

Overview: Shute is a do-it-all middle linebacker, as well as a sure-handed tight end. In zone coverage, he changes directions very well, reading the QB’s eyes then quickly closing ground to punish whoever has the football. And versus the run, he maneuvers through traffic and still lays the boom. Shute is a real weapon on offense. In-line next to the tackle or in the slot, he has the speed to beat defenders up the seam. He can also line up at h-back to chip d-ends before leaking out into the flats or take screens for chunk yards. Shute is a clean cut projection to stay at inside backer going forward.
