Morgan had solid production with 25 tackles, eight TFLs, four sacks, and a fumble recovery. The Bulldogs’ lineman impressed on tape with his versatility along the defensive line, showing that he can effectively play the 1-5 techniques. He plays with great leverage and keeps his trigger ready to shoot at the point of attack. Once he’s locked in, Charlie can work his hands inside and has the leg drive to move his opponent off their spot. Sometimes it’s as simple as “doing your job,” and Charlie does that very well with his ability to clog up and penetrate interior run lanes when playing DT and can provide pressure when lining up as a defensive end. Great pursuit and lateral quickness.
