Charlee Lawson of Culver has a quick first step, strong use-of-hands and can mirror rushers in pass protection effectively. The 6-foot-6, 290-pound left tackle starter uses his length well to maul defenders to the ground and he flashes good balance, staying on his feet while engaged with a defender. At 6-foot-6, he has a prototypical frame.

Miami-Ohio loves recruiting the state of Indiana, and the Redhawks got a potential cornerstone offensive tackle in Culver Military Academy lineman Charlie Lawson – a 6-foot-6, 290-pound left tackle who has a mean streak in the run game. Lawson is a great finisher who drives his feet on contact and does a tremendous job of creating vertical push. Expect big things for him in 2026.

Lawson is a powerful run blocker who is out of his stance quickly. He’s got a strong core that helps him gain leverage. He can get to the second level in the running game and help spring that key block down the field. He comes from a triple-option offense, so his pass protection is a bit raw, but with how good he is in the running game, I feel pretty confident the upside is there in pass pro as well.
