About Chanton

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very energetic, winner, and teammate mentality. I put work into everything and play multiple positions to prove I can be reliable and position flexible.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a proud member of the National Honours Society and Natural Helpers.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership wise really took over my 11th and 12th grade season. We had to turn our program around from a 0-8 season my 10th grade year to being in playoffs this past season. Teamwork is a big thing to me, I always got my guys together and we would practice on our on time and spend quality time together and go on trips throughout summer to get the team bond up for season.

2025 River View RB Chanton Davis Chanton Davis Chanton Davis 5'7" | 150 lbs | RB/LB River View | 2025 State WV was one of the leading rushers in Southern WV this season for the Raiders this season. Davis rushed for 900 yards and 8 touchdowns and earned a spot on our Class A Honorable Mention team. He’s another undersized athlete but is quick and speedy out of the backfield. Davis is another running back who can make defenders miss consistently and rip off explosive runs. Davis’ size allows him to slip through the line of scrimmage or he can bounce it outside and rely on his speed to turn the corner.
