is one of the more interesting prospects when you look at the state’s 2023 class. Because on one hand, you have Jordan’s junior season in which he was a first team All State selection and one of the top defensive tackles in the state. Then you have his senior season, in which he didn’t play in the first few weeks before landing at Morris and simply didn’t have the same kind of impact in 2022. We can’t help but remember what he was in 2021 as a terrorizing prospect coming right up the middle of an offensive line. We think that he still has a chance to be a special prospect moving forward but he’ll have to find the right college program to be a good fit.

We start off the defensive prospects along the line of scrimmage with one of the most disruptive defensive tackles in the state’s 2023 class.

had an interesting senior season to say the least. He became one of the top prospects at his position last fall with Beggs and would finish off his career this fall at Morris after missing the first part of the season. Jordan didn’t have the kind of production that we saw from him in 2021 but he just wasn’t on the field enough to replicate it. That doesn’t take away from the kind of disruptive force he can be along the line of scrimmage. We still like Jordan as one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the class. He’s a bit undersized but his combination of strength and speed makes up for it.

. After starting the year at Beggs, where he was an All State selection a year ago as a junior, Jordan then enrolled at Morris, where he would play out the rest of his senior season. Not matter what Jordan faced off the field, it’s when he’s on the field that makes him one of the more dominant defensive tackles in the state. Similar to Tiger, Jordan isn’t the biggest defensive tackle, but he moves so quick off the ball and has some real strength behind him that it’s a problem for opposing offensive linemen. While Jordan might not have the production he had last year, he’s still one of the best at his position.

and we have to put a disclaimer here on this breakdown. Jordan did not play in Beggs’ season opener against Hugo. He was on the sidelines but he did not get into the game. It’s unclear as we publish this whether he’ll play in the game on Friday. But if he does play, you have an absolute game-wrecker on the line of scrimmage if your Beggs. Jordan was a defensive lineman to watch last season heading into the year and he responded by becoming one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the state, climbing into the top ten for overall prospects in the 2023 class. he earned 1st Team All State honors and if he does play on Friday, he’ll play a big role by setting the tone on the line. Rejoice has one of the best offenses and quarterbacks in the state and it’ll be up to Jordan and the Beggs defensive line to make them very uncomfortable.
